Plasma Skin Tightening Maghull

Plasma Skin Tightening stands as a modern, non-surgical cosmetic procedure designed to enhance the appearance of sagging skin on various areas, including the face, neck, knees, arms, and stomach. This innovative treatment harnesses the power of plasma energy to stimulate collagen production, offering a non-invasive alternative to address loose and aging skin.

It involves utilising a pen-like device that emits plasma flashes onto the skin's surface. This controlled release of ionized gas generates a swift, popping motion, gently heating the outer layer of the skin and inducing micro-injuries in the tissue. These micro-injuries, though minor, prompt the body's natural healing process, activating fibroblast cells in the dermis.

Fibroblasts, responsible for producing proteins like collagen and elastin, respond to the micro-injuries by increasing their activity. This heightened fibroblast activity leads to a surge in protein production, particularly collagen, facilitating the repair of the skin. Over the subsequent 8-12 weeks, as the skin undergoes healing, the newly produced collagen contributes to a firmer, more elastic, and denser tissue, resulting in a natural tightening and rejuvenating effect. The overall outcome is skin remodeling and regeneration, providing a non-surgical solution for a more youthful appearance.

  • Post Care
Anti-wrinkle injections entail minimal downtime, allowing you to resume regular activities after the procedure. Some common post-treatment effects include mild swelling, redness, and occasional bruising at the injection sites. Comprehensive aftercare instructions will be provided. To enhance safety and achieve optimal results, consider the following precautions: - Maintain an upright position for at least 4 hours following the treatment. - Refrain from alcohol and activities that generate heat for 24 hours, such as strenuous exercise, spas, solariums, saunas, hot showers, or prolonged sun exposure. - Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the treated area for 24 hours. - Steer clear of applying makeup or active skincare, including AHAs, retinols, or Vitamin C, to the treated area for 24 hours to minimise infection risks. - Postpone any facial treatments like laser procedures, peels, or waxing for at least 2 weeks after the injection. - In case of a mild headache after the anti-wrinkle treatment, consider using pain relief such as paracetamol. Avoid anti-inflammatory medications like aspirin, fish oils, and Vitamin E, as they may lead to bleeding or bruising. - Apply ice to alleviate discomfort, swelling, and bruising. - Schedule a recommended 2-week follow-up appointment for a positive outcome and potential additional units if needed.
  • How long will the results last?
Typically, most individuals experience the benefits of Anti-Wrinkle injections for approximately 3-4 months. Although the treated muscles gradually revert to their pre-injection state, resulting in the return of wrinkles, many people observe that the lines still appear softer. This outcome is attributed to higher doses, which induce relaxation across the entire muscle. Individuals seeking a more natural look with residual movement may find that the treatment's duration is shorter but delivers a softer aesthetic. It is crucial to understand that the treated area doesn't immediately resume normal activity, transitioning from frozen muscles for three months to sudden movement overnight. The muscles begin to contract again as new nerve 'sprouting' takes place, typically occurring 4-6 weeks post-treatment. To sustain muscle relaxation and prevent the emergence of new wrinkles, repeated injections are advisable, positioning Anti-Wrinkle injections as an ideal preventative measure. Through repeated treatments, the effects often endure for more extended periods, as muscles gradually weaken over time. This results in longer intervals between treatments. Tailoring the dosage is crucial, and it may take a few sessions to determine the optimal dose (usually around three treatments), striking a balance between achieving the desired results and ensuring treatment longevity. Various factors, including metabolism, intense exercise, and concurrent illnesses, can influence the duration of the effects.
